Birth
Beginning of stegos lives, the stego babies are not hesitant to start out their legs and begin learning to walk, they will continue to walk and practice, building up their strength to keep up with the herd, and their parents.
Juvenile
Once stegos have reached juvenile they have mastered walking and even managed to gain the strength to keep up with the herd, they will need periods between travelling and will cause the herd to slow down more sometimes causing rifts in the family should unrelated and unmated family members be in the herd travelling as well.
Solitary Stegos will only usually be solitary should they be tracking the scent of a possible mate, or setting up their own territory to start their own herd.
Courtship
Male Stegos are the more territorial one, when it comes to searching for his future one and only lady. Once a males successfully located his target, he will begin to show off his territory, then if she stays he will persistently dance and show off his strength at any chance he gets by fighting off competitors and any other males attempting to take her attention, this will occur until she feels safe, then she will start to cuddle up to him and proceed to make a nest showing shes ready to settle down and start their own herd or track down their parents.
Parental Hood
Once a calf is delivered, the mother begins to lick it. Once the calf is able to stand on its feet and attempts to be nursed. It is very important that the mother stays close to her newborn for the first few days in order to assure that the calf imprints on its mother, which begins with the first of their bond.
Inhabitants
Stegos prefer the dense bushlands, open grasslands and woodland, floodplains of savannahs, males preferring to pick one of these places often migrating with a herd, should he be unlucky.
Hierarchy Dominant Pair
Pack Mentality
Stegos are sociable, nomadic animals. Females will choose their young should they have to form a small herd, often the dominant pair choosing when and where the pair will nest, not allowing other males or females in season near the nest, as mating season is dangerous, the herds will often clash together, and either new bonds will occur should they have lost their mate, or mating death matches occur.
Extra
Seasonal behaviors occur after a full moon, where herds often are found coming together where they either attempt to mate and nest with their current partner, while seasonal females and males will challenge whoever they find is "stealing" their future mate, these seasonal fights can be to the death due to stubbornness issues, but not always.
